This work is a visceral exploration of the body's response to instinctive and impulsive decision-making; through their movement and interactions, the dancers embody the rhythmic pulse of the heart and the fluidity of the blood it courses through our bodies.
Marion Kampert
Marion Kampert holds an Associate of Arts in Dance from Hillsborough Community College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Behavior Analysis from the University of South Florida. She is originally from Ecuador where her dance journey began at the Conservatorio Raymond Mauge Thoniel in Guayaquil. After migrating with her mom to the United States she continued to explore dance studies at Howard W. Blake High School. Marion's passion for dance deepened while training with Christina Acosta at attending Hillsborough Community College. She then joined Moving Current Dance Collective in 2008, where she had the opportunity to perform works by Cindy Hennessy, Erin Cardinal, Dione and Andy Noble, and Bill Doolin. In 2009 Marion performed in The Agreeable Husband, a show produced by All Out Rep under the direction of Shana Dunhue and Amie Salle. And in 2011 Marion joined REVolutions Dance, where she continues to learn about inclusive dance and has had the opportunity to travel to Russia and China teaching inclusive dance workshops and performing repertoire. Marion contined her growth as a dance educator and practicioner from her years directing a K-8 dance program at Rochelle School of the Arts in Lakeland where she produced shows, created curriculum, and collaborated with different fine art disciplines. In her spare time Marion enjoys attending the gym, and spending time with her husband, kids and her dog.
Sam Kedziora
Sam Kedziora grew up dancing competitively which inspired her to peruse a degree in dance. She graduate from USF with her BFA in modern dance studies and a minor in psychology in the spring of 2022. She spent the summer after graduating studying abroad with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in Ga’aton, Israel, B12 Research or Die in Berlin, Germany, and spent a month in Paris, France taking classes from local artists. In 2023, Sam moved to Chicago, Illinois to work as a performing apprentice with Trifecta Dance Collective and as a company member with Solarium Dance Company. Now in Tampa, Florida she works as a company member with projectALCHEMY and REVolutions Dance Company. She also find herself in gigs for local Tampa Bay choreographers such as Corinne Hidar and Bailey Johnson Grayson. Over the span of her dance career, Sam has had the privilege to learn from and work with choreographers such as Morgan Williams of Waterstreet Dance, Alice Klock and Florian Lochner of FLOCK, Braden Barnes of Symbiosis Arts, and her astounding professors including Bliss Kholmyer, Jeanne Travers, and Michael Foley. Sam looks forward to her future in dance and is excited to keep training and performing in Tampa Bay!
Calandre Kielich
Calandre Kielich started dancing at a young age, studying, and training in classical ballet. She went on to explore new styles of dance through her college experience while gaining a BA in studio art and photography. Calandre became a dedicated member of REVolutions Dance in 2012, contributing her passion to the company’s mission of inclusivity and creative expression. She has toured domestically and abroad on multiple occasions, performing in a wide variety of venues, and connecting with audiences through meaningful and impactful movement. Calandre plays a key role in the Saturday morning student classes, for REVolutions youth, located in Oldsmar, Fl. Where she helps create a fun, welcoming and empowering environment for dancers of all ages and abilities. Her passion for dance, commitment to inclusivity, and dedication to community make her an invaluable presence within the REVolutions Dance family. Outside the studio, Calandre continues to care for and connect with others as a nanny, where she brings her nurturing spirit and creativity. She is also an ardent photographer, specializing in newborns and pets. Through her lens, she captures quiet, intimate moments with the same heart and artistry that she brings to her dancing – celebrating life’s smallest, sweetest details with authenticity and charm.
Dwayne Scheuneman
Dwayne Scheuneman is Co-Founder, Artistic Director, Integrated Dance Educator, and Dancer with REVolutions Dance. In 2005, Dwayne set out to introduce the Tampa Bay community to the creative and artistic contributions of artists with disabilities. Dwayne began by collaborating with local dancers and choreographers to gain visibility and access to performance opportunities for dancers with disabilities. In 2008, under Dwayne’s artistic direction, REVolutions Dance produced their first full length concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall Performing Arts Center. Since that time, REVolutions Dance, led by Dwayne, has maintained a steady and consistent performance schedule and has established a national and international performing presence. Over the years, REVolutions Dance has performed nationally throughout the United States and internationally in Russia, Italy, China, and Palestine – to mention just a few. In addition to performing, Dwayne discovered a strong need for community outreach and education that encouraged include new efforts that went beyond the stage and focused on creating opportunities for children with disabilities to take dance classes alongside their non-disabled peers. In 2010, Dwayne began to conduct a variety of community outreach and education programs. His education and community building efforts provided by REVolutions Dance now extend beyond Tampa Bay to other areas of the US and around the globe. Dwayne continues to provide such opportunities in the Tampa area with weekly integrated dance classes for children and adults. He also continues with his national and international efforts.
